Jonathan Clement is CEO of PWN Technologies, formerly a Global Technology Leader for Black and Veatch. Clement, specialized in the treatment of drinking water, has been the principal investigator of numerous global research projects examining the technology to improve water treatment. Being the founder of the IWA’s Leading Edge Technology (LET) Water Technology Conference he was its Chairman for the first five years. In 2013 he received a special award from IWA for outstanding leadership with the LET. He is also member of the management committee of the IWA Water Reuse Specialist group and an IWA fellow since 2012.
As a recognized international expert he conducted over ten Water Research Foundation projects on water treatment and distribution around the world. He works on new pre treatment technologies for membrane systems along with emerging technologies such as UV and ion exchange for removal of organics. Many of his projects have won awards from various global water associations from around the world.
